Fuell Inc. is an American enterprise of which the founders have roots in the motorcycle industry and worked with brands as Buell, Ducati and Harley-Davidson in particular.

Fuell emphasizes the electrical power on (motor)cycles. FUELL is an acronym for Freedom Urban Electric Love Life but also refers to its co-founder and CTO Erik Buell.

Fuell introduced its first speedpedelec in 2019 which became available in NL-BE in 2020: the Flluid 1S 2020, written with double "L"s.

In december 2022 Fuell promoted their first motorcycle called Fllow. It featured some interesting specifications even a speedpedelec would be happy with:

  • blind spot detection
  • front & rear collision warning
  • eTraction control
  • Linked intelligent ABS
  • keyless lock and connected dashboard

As Fuell operates in the lower price range it could mean that these properties could become common good. So far Keyless Lock/Unlock exists with competitor Stromer and traction control with Ellio which has a second motor in the front wheel.

At the end of 2022, according to Fuell, more than 4,000 Flluid 1 (including the S, speedpedelec model) have been sold.

Februari 2023

Following an insight and lessons learned from their own worldwide survey amongst speedpedelec cyclists dated 2021, Fuell announces 2 new speedpedelec models with the same design language as the Flluid 1S.

  • Flluid-2S: 2 x 1.000 Wh batteries (total 2.000 Wh!) in a classical diamond frame and the
  • Flluid-3S: 1 x 1.000 Wh battery in a stepthrough frame.

Remarkable is the Valeo mid motor, with an enormous 130 Nm power rating, which is integrated with an Effigear automatic gearbox (manual shifting possible), the large capacity batteries and the beltdrive. A first for Fuell will be connectivity a.o. GPS locating. Batteries are removable for easy charging. The frame is an one-size-fits-all.
