The first speedpedelec from the Belgian brand Aska (Swedish for thunder) with an expected delivery (in 3 colors) in the 2nd quarter of 2022. This Super Commuter has a characteristic angular frame design with angular tubes of 7020 high strength aluminum and is made in Belgium.
The electrics are from the German Alber: the Neodrives rear-wheel motor comes with a colour display and a large, removable, 950 Wh battery. The bicycle is low maintenance: a belt drive and a Pinion "gearbox" at the bottom bracket have been chosen. The Pinion, which can be shifted with a twist grip, has 6 gears which is a first in the speedpedelec market. Also special is the motor in the suspended rear wheel! Together with the front suspension, fat tires and Ergotec cockpit, a lot of comfort is provided on this bicycle where you can also choose between a straight or curved handlebar. Remarkable are the double IQ X headlights from B&M (2x 100 Lux) that light up simultaneously. These headlights also radiate sideways which is an extra safety feature. There is no connectivity. Options: carrier rack.
