Ellio Marty 45 with rear suspension 2023

In the summer of 2023, Ellio's 2nd model, the Marty, would have been on sale. It is a further development of the Ellio Elite (with its small wheels and low center of gravity) specifically aimed at more comfort and more cargo (children or cargo). The frame (available in normal or a step-through version and also with rear suspension) is a so-called long-tail due to its elongated rear. Ellio would have been the first with rear suspension in a long-tail speed pedelec. The pivot point of this is even in front of the bottom bracket. The rear luggage rack (and therefore the luggage) is suspended: not only kind to the luggage but it also improves comfort. The front and rear suspension (both new to Ellio), the curved handlebars, the adjustable stem and the fat tires ensure maximum comfort. The front suspension is an upside-down version. The bike is low maintenance due to its transmission via 2 belts and an automatic hub gear, so no more shifting. You can set the pedalling cadence yourself, even when cycling. The belt for the cyclist, from bottom bracket to rear wheel, is from Gates. The semi midmotor has its own belt. The drive system is derived from the Ellio Elite and includes the unique front and semi-center motor (i.e. all-wheel drive) supplemented with cruise control and an extra electric coaster brake, a large 1150 Wh battery and a color display. The drive system is completely concealed in the suspension swingarm and in this way the left belt is also better protected. Options: a second (not connected) battery fixed next to the rear luggage carrier that has to be changed manually € 1,665.00, luggage carrier Cargo € 200, children's seat + footboard € 300, bag for children's seat € 200, cargo box hardshell case rear € 600, ABS from Blubrake: price not yet known.
