Gazelle Eclipse Speed 2024

In 2024 Gazelle introduced its new Eclipse Speed speedpedelec. No stepthrough frame is available in this bike which has a clean look as cables are routed through the stem. However there are 3 sizes. A front suspension and 60 Mm wide Schwalbe Marathon Efficiency tyres (on 25 Mm wide rims) provide the necessary comfort. The new V-shaped stem is adjustable and houses the display.

Bosch supplies the electrics: its Smart System prohibits a personal adjustment of the drive modes for speedpedelecs however there are many modes to choose from. The 4th generation midmotor is fed by a 4,3 Kg, intube, removable, 750 Wh battery which is equipped with a strap for easy carrying and can be charged in 6 hours via the 4A charger. The ergonomic controls are placed on the left of the steeringbar, in the centre we find the Bosch Kiox 300 colordisplay with its many functions. So can navigation, via the Bosch eBike Flow app on Your smartphone, be send to the display. The Bosch eBike Lock function enables You to immobilize Your motor: the key becomes Your removable display or Your smartphone. Optionally Your display can be replaced by Your smartphone altogether via the Bosch SmartphoneGrip.

The rear wheel hub houses the gears: an infinite, stepless Enviolo Heavy Duty Internal Gear Hub which is controlled by a gripshift. This is combined with Gates Beltdrive and results in a bike low on maintenance. The belt is protected in front and above by a strip.

Connectivity through Gazelle's Connect which includes 1 year theft insurance and free bike track and trace and repatriation. This is due to the standard installed GPS, see the sticker on the frame. When stolen You receive a message on Your Gazelle app and after reporting it stolen bikehunters will track Your bike. An Imenso framelock by Axa is installed as well as a rear carrier with MIK HD-system with lowered side tubes for panniers. The color is Anthracite Grey.
