Yamaha Booster 2024

In 2023, Yamaha introduced its first in-house speed pedelec, the Booster. Key features of this, in 2022 announced, Booster are: one-size-fits-all frame, the small super fat tires of 20 Inches, a frame with a lowered step-through (according to Yamaha a "U" frame) and the honeycomb, see through, single "tube" between the seat tube and the front wheel. Yamaha speaks of an aluminum honeycomb profile that you can see through when the optional side covers are not mounted. The frontwheel, which has suspension, has minimalistic, MTB-like mudguards. The bike makes a small impression in photos and has a low center of gravity. The electrics consist of: a 75 Nm strong mid-motor from Yamaha itself and a removable 630 Wh battery, placed vertically in front of the seat tube. The motor has 5 support settings from Eco 60% to High 400% incl. an automatic mode. Please note that the max. pedal assistance is 45 Km/H but decreases from 40 Km/H upwards. The motor provides immediate assistance as soon as you start pedaling (Yamaha's Zero Cadence technology). The Enviolo, low-maintenance, gear hub in the rear wheel is infinitely adjustable via a twist grip and is combined with a chain, which is a rare combination. The centrally located Yamaha colour display has a control unit that is placed on the left side of the handlebars. The display shows speed, range and battery capacity and can be connected to your smartphone via apps, after which you can view fitness and navigation. With luggage carrier: maximum load capacity of 25 kg. Optional: front and rear basket with or without inner bags, side bags, smartphone rod mounting system, colored side panels on both sides in the down tube. The Booster can be purchased either online or at an eBike Experience Center (have it delivered to your home or pick it up at a Yamaha eBike Experience Center).
